Catie Gosselin

Catie GosselinCatie Gosselin thought she had her career mapped out. She was a successful geek, working as a network administrator. But one month after her return from maternity leave she was laid off and left to ponder the direction of her career.

She didn't let the adversity get her down. Instead, she and her husband started Townsend Craft & Graphics, where she began to hone her graphics and Web design skills.

Today, she heads up WomanLinks.com, a community of substance for women. WomanLinks proudly offers content and features to foster a spirit of empowerment, experience sharing, and growth for women of all ages and lifestyles and is part of the Women's Forum network.

Probably back in 1979 when my best friend's father brought a computer home. It was clunky and slow, but I was hooked.

How do you earn a living?

At first I earned money from designing web sites and graphics, but as WomanLinks.com grew there just were not enough hours in the day. My income now is based on advertising from WomanLinks.com as well as affiliate revenue.

More like a Geek in progress.

What is your favorite Website?

Considering it is what I live, breathe and sleep...WomanLinks.com.

Homeschool my two sons, yoga, read or watch movies.

Meg Ryan

What would be the title of your autobiography?

I'll Get It Eventually

Who is the person you most admire?

My sister Sheila.

When and where were you the happiest?

Right here, right now (otherwise it would all be down hill, wouldn't it? LOL).
