Awakened  in the middle of night to find myself amidst the sunlight,
Frozen in the moment of what it was and yet barely remembering.

Still……..the deafening noise of my soul finds a shelter,
Hoping to survive the woes of euphoric bliss.

Wait……I cannot conceive this existence,
Submerged in maddening crowds…
The laughter of tears showering my humanity…………

Silence….the echoes fill my heart with random questions
Only to the find the answers come when the yearning has taken leave.

The sudden rapping of the door delights me,
and yet the welcome interruption becomes…..
A ghost of yesterday.
